Anyway, Halloween was fun. Melissa, Lauren and I went to a bar called Dillinger's in Itaewon. I, of course, was Buzz Lightyear and they were nerds. On Sunday morning we went to Mr. Pizza. It wasn't very good. :(
One of my coworkers, Jen, and I were talking at work. I have never hung out with her and we were talking about places to go out in our area. She mentioned Gangnam Station area, and I told her that I had been out there and like to go to this little bar where the bartender was really nice. She said she went to bar like that too. Vudu. SAME BAR. On top of that, she is best friends with LJ the bartender/owner. Small world.
Last night we all (Jen, Adrienne, Lauren and Melissa) went to Vudu together. I introduced them all to mind erasers. It was a pretty good time. Nate came by as well.
Today Lauren, Melissa and I went to Lotte department store in Jamsil. We got pasta at this Italian restaurant and it was delicious. It was pretty expensive but worth it. I got seafood pasta as usual. We then shopped around and I got some pretty cool headbands and rings.
At 6:30 we all met in the lobby to go to this musical performance fundraiser. Our school sponsors this orphanage church thing... I didn't really know what it was. I thought it was a musical performance put on by the church as a fundraiser. We get there and its church. Yes there were musical performances, but it was church! I was so mad. I did not want to be there. I don't even like going to temple and doing things with Judaism... why would I want to go to church? Everything was in Korean too. I guess I am used to religious gatherings being in a different language, but this was torture. It was 2.5 hours too. I wanted to die.
We were supposed to go to Hongdae tonight. I haven't seen Elena in a while and really wanted to hangout with her, but we didn't go because we were all so tired from the night before and our long church service.
I am hoping to buy a camera soon. Peace.
